Definitely intriguing, I wonder how healthy he is/where his head's at? If CBS could straighten him out it'd be a great story.

Realistically though I'd rather just have Zeller get the minutes.

Of course he's going to get bought out. Philly can't afford to let Noel and Embiid be poisoned by McGee's influence. Not because he's a punk, but because he's Javale McGee, plus what have they got to lose? It's not like FAs will be lining up to go there.

I presume Mcgee will go to a contender when he gets bought out. I fully anticipate Cleveland, Dallas and Clips to give him a call when he does. I did kinda hope the Celtics would get McGee because even if he's not nearly worth what he makes, he'd fill a need. Athletic rim protector who can run the floor. Basically Brandan Wright but dumber.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'd try to get him on the cheap.

At best, we turn him into a guy we can use. At worst, he helps the tank.

You guys really don't know Brad Stevens yet.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

People who actually watch Nuggets games have said they were that McGee is still recovering from injury and looks bad enough on the floor that they weren't sure he would pass a physical if traded.  If I were McGee's agent, I'd probably tell him to hold out for at least 75% of next season's money (and maybe more) if he is offered a buyout and wants one.
