RANT:Why are the radio stations giving preference to B's instead of C's

My biggest issue this week is exactly this. The C's deadline less than 30 hours away and yet you hear nothing but B's talk on the radio??? Is anyone as fed up about this other than me?

The NHL trade deadline is March 2nd you have 13 freaking days to cover that...the NBA deadline is on Feb 19 - PLEASE talk some C's instead of B's.

Is anyone else with me?

Blame the, "There may be fireworks". It got the stations going but then nothing happened. So they are not putting listeners through that speculation again with this strange twisting C's team.

Sports radio hosts tend to be old white men, who gravitate towards baseball and hockey more than basketball.

There was an article with the same conclusion about how the Warriors don't get talked about much in the bay area even though they are a title contender this year.

I hear ya Roy, but the C's are still more intriguing. AND the deadline is TOMORROW!!! I completely understand the Sox talk - WEEI has to do it, and of course DEFLATEGATE, but come on are you telling me that a deadline that's 13 days away is more compelling that one 30 hours away???

Yes, they look exactly like the 09-10 Celtics. And yes, their playoff push, as ugly as it may look, is still way, WAY more worthy of attention than the Celtics trade deadline. Sorry about that.

Yes, they look exactly like the 09-10 Celtics. And yes, their playoff push, as ugly as it may look, is still way, WAY more worthy of attention than the Celtics trade deadline. Sorry about that.

How is way more worthy of attention??? You can't compare a deadline 30 hours away to 13 days - just doesn't compute. Even if you had 50-50 split in C's & B's talk time it would be appreciated but absolutely NOTHING! You have all of next week to talk B's. 
I'm specifically referencing WEEI and 98.5! Over on 850 ESPN, you don't even hear a peep about the NHL trade deadline.

As it was already pointed out, the Bruins (as well as any moves they may make) are actually relevant. The Celtics, not so much. The NBA trade deadline may be in an hour, and still no-one will (nor should they) care about whether Danny Ainge will manage to ship out Brandon Bass for his 25th late 1st round pick. Deal with it.

On a related note, no-one on Boston sports talk radio has any clue about basketball, so it's probably not a big loss anyhow.
