I don't for see anybody new suiting up for Celtics .

That might not be such a bad thing .

The team needs time to settle down , let the players get a grip,  let the Coach have a chance to form a team or something to build on .

Unless a franchise player like Cousins is brought in .  I see none of the others moving the needle much .  Some upgrade ,  but not significantly.

I really think DA will stick to guns and not trade away Thornton, Bass or Prince away for a peanut offer .    Their role is too valuable  ....as CBS is trying to wins games ! :)

I wouldn't be surprised to see NOTHING happen

Utah ......has stupid ideas for Kanter.....who'll be a free agent anyway and has contract baggage

Bass for Thomas makes the most sense.  Something for both teams . But if the Lakers take Drog...then Thomas stays

I really don't see much movement.

I picked unrealistic players for the most part. I'd rather see a poll with players that are actually being talked about in trades.

Lawson, Dragic, Lopez....

Of course we all want KD and other great players, but who do we want that is actually available?

It was tough for me to pick 3, because aside from Cousins, I only want expirings who we'd be given assets for taking on, so I picked Perk.  I wish KG were on the list tho.  Not that I expect him in Green, but I hold out slight hope that he'll be needed to match salary for the Nets, but won't want to go to his new team, and would be willing to come back to Boston.  Especially if we wind up trading Bass. In this hypothetical, we'd probably get draft compensation for facilitating.

That would be pretty awesome. Imagine the reception Garnett would get in the Garden.

Cousins isn't happening - yet.

And I'm not at all interested in bringing back fossilized ex-Celtics.

Time to start accumulating players, not pieces.

Dragic tops my list - assuming he'll resign here.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Me too.

I didn't vote for him, but selfishly I'd enjoy seeing David Lee in green.
Yup

I went Cousins and Stauskas because it's two different directions either we buy and go all in on Cousins or we sell. Sell for a young guy by dealing coming cap space say Thornton, Crowder and Bass for Stauskas, Landry, Thompson.

I'm reluctant on Dragic, but for a different reason: He has indicated where he wants to play.  Boston is not on that list.  Sure, we would have Bird rights, but if he wants to be somewhere else, he will.  And truthfully, I wouldn't give him a max contract and believe that there are others who would.

I wouldn't give up anything of value for him, which I consider to be Smart, Sully or any of our first-round picks.

I voted for Boogie

But realistically, i'd like to see Kanter. I think we can get him cheap

I know he's a restricted free agent, but he probably wont get the max. And if he breaks out, then we'd be in a great position

It could be a classic buy low sell high

Of course, if Utah is asking too much for him, then forget about it
I trust Danny Ainge

Interesting enough one of the players I chose is Perk! I don't how much is left in the tank, he's only 30. Perk give the C's some toughness to Zeller, KO, and Sully, plus add some interior D. and be reasonably priced.

Cousins is a pipe dream at this time.

Isiah is a talented ball player looking for a new home, still young, and a go to guy.

Kanter is only 22, and would have to be resigned, he's not a real defender, but could grow. We don't have the PF talent to blend with him, but we need to improve at the center position. He and Zeller at PF would be interesting.

If Cousins is truly available, this poll shouldn't even be close lol
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
