This year's international class is really, really good. I think all three of these guys could be top 6 value:

1. Mudiay. Not really an international but non-NCAA at least, playing in china. He reminds me so strongly of Chris Paul with his awesome feel for the game. He does everything out of the P&R, splits double teams, sees passes that others don't see, threads the needle. Relentless in transition, and he has awesome quicks to go with above-average explosiveness and excellent size for a PG. DX has him #3, and I think he would be a real candidate to go #1 if it weren't for his recent injury. He mainly just needs to work on his range, but his shooting numbers aren't terrible given that it's his biggest weakness.

2. Porzinigs. A legit 7 footer with the quicks and ups of a wing. He's shooting 46% from 3 on small sample size this year, and roughly 2 stls and blocks per 40, so he can be a stretch 4/5 in a modern offense. His wingspan isn't listed but I wouldn't be surprised if it's 7'4 or even better. He needs to work on his strength, but he does have the frame for it.

3. Hezonja. A classic wing scorer with hops, court vision and a jumper. He can do it all offensively, create his own shot or spot up, and defensively he has the tools to be good. I don't think his quicks are as good as his vertical explosiveness, and there are questions about his attitude, but it's tough to argue with his upside.

My current draft hierarchy is:

1/2: Okafor, Mudiay
3/4: Towns, Porzingis
5/6/7: D. Russell, Hezonja, S. Johnson

What do you guys think? Is it crazy to think that these three could all be top-6 picks? Would there be any precedent for such a good int'l class?

Are you considering Mudiay an international just because of his season in China? Or because he spent his first 4-5 years in Zaire?

I never thought of Brandon Jennings as an international player for his one season in Europe.

it's a good point - I guess I should say 'non-NCAA'

It will be interesting to see how the NBA approaches non-NCAA players while they attempt to raise the age limit by another year.

I'd rather see them use the D-League for young players somehow.

GMs will recall Darko and this will not come to pass.
