Sully, next year when he plays 40 minutes a game leads celts to mediocre record at the break like 27-23  and averages 22 pts and 11 rb.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I can see Smart or Young making it. Smart seems like a tough but slower version of Eric Bledsoe, and honestly 17.2 PPG, 1.7 SPG, 5.9 APG, 5.2 RPG, is definitely numbers that could be an Allstar in the East.

I'll echo some others and say none of the above, with Smart having the greatest chance.

I'll say that I don't think anybody on the team right now is going to be an All-Star as the leader of the team.

Making an All-Star team depends a lot on context.  Big Al has never made a team because he's always the clear cut best player on his own team.  Kyle Korver made it this year because he has three other really talented teammates.

I could see Sullinger one day making a team if he ends up playing next to a couple of stars who make his job really easy.  I could see Smart making it, too, if he ever gets to lead the offense of a team brimming with offensive talent.  Olynyk, if he develops well, could make it in as a high-scoring stretch big playing off some premier offensive threats.

Chances are none of them ever gets in, though.

I could also see Smart making a few all star games dependent on being in the right situation. I liken what I believe Smart can be to Kawhi Leonard somewhat, in that Leonard's conventional stats don't jump out at you or do him much justice. Fortunately for him, because of being on the right team and showcasing his worth on the biggest stage 2 years in a row, most everyone appreciates his game for what it is despite not really being a go to scorer. Similarly, Smart doesn't seem to have that explosive first step that most small guards need to be able to score at will, but he does seem to impact about every other facet of the game positively. But if the C's remain in the gutter, I think most won't recognize or care about it.

Sullinger can't even make it to the games on time.  Keep working on that 3 point shot Sully!  Stay hot!  Loser work ethic and loser attitude.

sometimes change happens, sometimes it doesnt. maybe sully can come around.

To me, Sullinger has "guy who finally vision quests for his contract year" written all over him. He will be in the best shape of his life, play 38 minutes a night, and put up 20-12-4. He will be an all-star next year.

After that I have no idea.

Olynyk never will be. If Smart or Young get there, it's a ways off.
