He's sitting at a +22 in the last two games. Small sample size, but impact is strong regardless.
Below are his +/- compared to the other starters

Against NYK:

Against Denver:

Didnt realize how terrible the other starters were against Denver. SMH

It's the things that don't show up on the stat sheet that really make him stand out. He had some great box outs last night against much bigger competition. I'm really enjoying his play, makes me not miss rondo that much haha.

Smart and Young need to play as much as possible to grow together .......they are immediate future ......being on court together cements the beginning of the new Celtics .

I don't put a lot of stock in +/-, but it's actually a nice way to capture all the little things Marcus does that are hard to measure.  Simply being a winner.  He's positive for the entire year, not just since becoming a starter.  He and Olynyk are the only ones, last I checked.

Wow i didnt know that they've been positive all season. Though it is a pretty vague stat, it does tell me that his presence on the floor has only cut into deficits or maintained leads.

I really like that Brad Stevens put Marcus Smart in the starting 5.
