Smart and Young.

Agree, and that will be a big back court with Young going 6'6" and Smart 6'4".

Now, can we somehow add Stanley Johnson as our SF please?

What makes some people so sure that Smart will improve but that Bradley is done improving?  Right now, based on current performance, Bradley is more of a player than Smart.  I agree that we can start to project Bradley's ceiling a little better.  I think both are keepers but there is no guarantee with either and still plenty of upside with both.

I think Smart is better. His defense is better right now, and he seems to contribute in more ways all around than Bradley, who's pretty much restricted to being a jump shooter—and not a great one, at that: 43.5% this season, and 43.7% for his career. Not the numbers I want in a starting shooting guard.
I don't even mind the numbers.  They're not bad.  But Bradley is a weird combination of a plus-defender with bad intangibles.

This is a good way to describe him. His shooting is okay, sometimes better than okay, but he doesn't really bring any "presence" to the court, in my opinion—on offense, unless he's scoring, he's isn't doing anything. And his D isn't even as good these days as it used to be.

Bradley is NOT the future.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him flipped for another asset in a little over a year when he has 2 years left on his contract, and hopefully James Young starts showing something.

I reckon AB is one our best trade chips.

If we make a superstar trade, one where we deal a number of picks, AB is the perfect kind of player to include as his contract is big enough to help match and he's young/talented enough to value him on his play.

Mannix and Gorman were talking about Denver breaking their team up perhaps...Maybe we can flip AB/Picks and K.O.-? to get The Manimal.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Faried is one-dimensional and he's not a good defender.  Not a good post player.  Of course he brings good attitude and energy and he was very impressive on team USA.

I think Brandon Bass, the way he's playing right now, has as much basketball value as Faried and maybe more.  I'd rather spend 12.5M elsewhere.

Faried , lawson, nurkic are the 3 likely going nowhere. They will trade everyone else if possible. No thanks

Who else on that team is worth trading for?
Reality is they need to move one of those three to entice an impact move.

If ownership really does back Shaw, I could see them move Kenneth in a 1-for-many deal.
For all the hype, manimal's defense is well...pretty... indefensible.

Agree.  Nothing of interest.  I think Denver waited too long already.  You can't tell me that Afflalo or Chandler couldn't have helped OKC or CLE or HOU (before Brewer) or POR or the Clippers.  Denver stubbornly held onto these guys and even took on salary with Jameer Nelson, deluding themselves about making the playoffs.  They only parted with Mosgov because of Nurkic, and Mosgov was a nice player with one of the most manageable contracts on the team (4.9M).

I'm not impressed with Denver's front office, or with Shaw for that matter.  Of course, when I said this on the Denver blog, they banned me, so atleast it appears that the front office is serving the fan base.  ;D
