Just to further confuse matters, how does the swap with San Antonio effect this?
The swap with SAS would happen first (or not happen). Everything else is based on which ever pick BOS ends up with (their own or the SAS pick). It does not affect what BOS would be from PHI as part of the trade.
Just to clarify for celts55:
We have the right to swap our pick with Philly (who owns the LAC pick), but only after SAS swaps with us.
We get to swap with the better of PHI/LAC picks if LAC is in the lottery and PHI is in the bottom 8.
We get to swap with LAC's pick if LAC is in the lottery and PHI picks 9th - 30th.
We get to swap with PHI if PHI is in the bottom 8 and LAC finishes outside the lottery.
We get both our first (after the SAS swap) and LAC's first if LAC finishes outside the lottery and Philly finishes 9 - 30.
So, in short, we'll either have one lottery pick, or two first rounders (LAC's plus the worst of BOS/SAS).
I think that's right.
