  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
He is looking great now. So many drafted after him are doing so much better wow what a wasted pick.

Outside of Draymond Green, who are these "so many" people?

Tony Wroten is a nice player and Miles Plumlee is OK but neither have accomplished as much as Sullinger. I know people on this site seem to salivate over PJIII for some reason, but he has done nothing to this point.

Edit: Second thought. I think my sarcasm meter was broken.
My Point exactly He is the best player picked by that pickand after. Green is the only one better but we need beef and now we have it. Hopefully he will call Barkley's Trainer and get it together. I think he can be a bull on the blocks he looked good last night.
"People look at players, watch them dribble between their legs and they say, 'There's a superstar.'  Well John Havlicek is a superstar, and most of the others are figments of writers' imagination."

I have no problem him weighting 275 ......long as it's more lean muscle bulk and not a spare tire around his belly .

He would amazing if he worked on his body seriously .

He made some tough shots against the Knicks last night, but that's been the exception rather than the rule lately.  He stunk the previous few games.

I think the thing holding him back the most is his weight..  If he is 275lb at 6'9" that is way over ... for that frame 245 should be max weight

Regardless he looks a bit chubby and is sometimes sluggish on the floor.. He needs to take his career more seriously. Also the Celtics should have people monitoring his diet..

I too, think he has packed on a few pounds during the season.  Strange thing I didn't notice to January well after the holidays.   One could be excused for a Thanksgiving or Christmas binge but get it off man.

Players Should be forced to read a blog once a month .  I take criticism every day....my wife loves dishing it out . ;)

Since they are too self enamored to be critical and stand in mirror

Professionals  ??? are highly paid and don't think their actions go unnoticed

Their off court work ethic and self esteem is being watched .....part of the dues they pay for the money and glory.

Nothing wakes you up like seeing your name passed around as a fat person .

I'll bet Sully weighs 290-300.
In the perfect situation he should be at 255-265 tops.

What a shame, an in shape Sully, and properly conditioned Sully would see a significant improvement in all areas.

I don't think we will ever see him in top condition. I don't think he thinks there's a problem. I understand some people have a certain type of body and a certain type of metabolism that makes weight loss difficult. But with the tools he has a hand, continual physical activity, trainers, nutritionists, cooks, team doctors, etc.
Give me a break.

Someone mentioned the Celtics should draft a young PF in the next two years, just to light a fire under Sully and KO. I agree.

Bright side for you guys. Sullinger is going to show up completely cut next year when his rookie contract is getting ready to expire.

Sideways?

There is no need for that.

He will come in better shape for next season.
Just like the last 2 seasons. Professionalism is his middle name.

That's assuming either of them is around in 2 years.

Where are all these figures on Sully's recent weight/weight gain/BMI coming from? Do we have  somebody here who's hacked his bathroom scales?
