goggle khem birch-6 -10 ,7ft-1 wingspan and 37inch vert, and look at shalick  taking up a roster space,-what happens if zeller gets hurt-giving a big half a season that can also play pow we gave away dwight poweller forward -why not  if young--we gave away dwight powell-
yes, dwight powell, who has scored a total of 4 points and 5 rebounds in the past 3 games. in the 6 games prior to that stretch, he averaged 19 minutes, 6 points, and 4 rebounds a game. oh, and he racks up a lot of fouls too.

i just don't think powell is somehow going to come to the rescue of the celtics, should zeller ever go down. powell is a nice 8th to 12th player on most nba teams.

read some of news from mav's on his energy and intangibles  he got in for a few minutes no points but had a couple steals, he can shoot and jump and get to the hoop off the dribble, remember he is a 6-11roookie,shavlik is how old  and taken i think about 13 shots in a couple years-why would you waste the space and time even at practice and that is the point--finding someone like miami did-rather have a 6-10 jumper with 7-1 wingspan than some old vet that can't jump or run just cause he is 6-11.there is half a season left.

yet my point remains. powell is a bench warmer. after getting some time for dallas, they have decided to sit him. i don't loath powell. i simply think he is a very limited player and replacing shavlik with powell would not make a difference this season. none.
