The Hornets and Nets are discussing a larger package that would likely include guards Lance Stephenson and Gerald Henderson and forward Marvin Williams, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
The Nets were reluctant to take on Stephenson in prior talks over a possible Brook Lopez trade. Being able to get rid of Johnson's huge contract might help them get over their reluctance, especially if they can flip Henderson or Williams before the trade deadline.
