Lack of Offensive Balance?

The C's don't have a balance inside-out game. Most of their shots comes between mid-range and 3's. There just seems to be a lack of scoring in the paint especially from the guards and small forward position. Why is that? Goes back to my main question is the the players and their shot selection or is Brad Steven's scheme?
