Memphis is signing Tyrus Thomas to a ten day contract. Man he had some potential, enough to trade him for rookie Lamarcus Aldridge on draft day.

To this day he might be my most disappointing draft bust with Thomas Robinson, OJ Mayo, and Beasley. This is ricoulously premature but if he can turn into the next great Memphis reclamation project and eventually succeed Zach Randolph that would be one of the great comeback stories.

Thomas has a sustainable mid range jumper, enough athleticism to play above the rim, and can defend the rim or at least the lanes around it. He's still got those skinny fat arms but his on court demeanor and intangibles seem vastly improved. Anyone think he might not be a lost cause? What draft pick in the coming draft would be in most danger of pulling a Tyrus. Probably say Porzingis and Chris Walker are the most at risk.
