well, until the last part of the 4th quarter i dont have too many complaints. they kept it close against the bulls and rose was simply unconscious with shooting then.

i wish sully would turn into more of an **** and fight harder. sigh.

looked a lot more like the bulls had good defense at end and the celtics didnt execute play after play. that sort of a combo killed the celtics at the end.

It's funny that I only see you talk about Smart when he messes up, but the many other times that he does well you're silent. I wonder why that is. 

Part of the problem is you think I think that Smart is messing up. Smart is not even having a bad game...

What he continues to do that I know he will continue to do is shoot three pointers, because he cannot do much else. This is a problem that he needs to fix, and maybe he will, but whatever.

Because 29 games into a rookie's career shows what he will continue to do throughout his career?

Nope, but it shows exactly what I thought he would be doing and what many others saw him doing. So yes it's a decent assessement.  It is at least better than your "29 games in a rookie career" excuse.

Their defense sucked the entire game.  It may be that they just aren't capable of stopping a good team but Chicago did anything they wanted offensively all night.

of course there is also the alternative explanation that CBS has told him to take those threes, just as he has told sully to take threes this season. the point is have them develop their 3 point shooting and wins and loses be [dang]ed this year. it is, after all, the year of the tank. 

next season or in 3 years a win or two more this year means nothing. but if sully and smart can develop a good three point shot, THAT will be more important.

i am not sure i agree, but i understand the logic and the attempt to build an important skill in two key players.
