I didn't even see this until today.  The guy is averaging 12 PPG, and he goes off for 52! Granted Mo has had some big offensive nights in his career, but he's a while past his prime.  It must be amazing to be that locked in.

Having a 50 point game in the NBA is pretty special.

My favorite random 50 point night was Tony Delk's for the Suns.

Yup

He started hitting some pretty sick "heat check" shots at the end.

Contract year, I think.  Someone will probably pick him up to be a veteran starting PG.

Not quite as flukey as Terrence Ross's 51 points from last year.

Yeh, he broke Brewer's franchise record.  Sad that KG or Googs or even Wally don't hold the record there.  I'd forgotten about Ross's.

Not surprised at who .....but when ....LOL ......he used to murder the Celtics ......

I thought he was past this type of outburst .

There are several plays capable of a one game KOBE like performance

I m waiting for Saggy P to have one of these nights.....he loves shooting,  in front of his, hero Kobe on his fav team .....just loves to show off. .....and the sucky Lakers offer him his perfect storm to shine in.

good call. but let's face it, wilt was amazing. you know you are good when a sport has to change its rules to accommodate your abilities.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

yeah, that was the case with Mikan, Russell, Chamberlain and I'm not sure on Jabbar...

EDIT: I forgot Jordan, officiating style changed to help him win...

The craziest part about Delk's 50 was no 3's, and only attempted 1.

Andre Miller Dropped 51 (I think) with only three shots from deep and like 8 free throws.
