From last night's game.  Love got benched in the 4th quarter too.

I'm not sure Blatt survives the season.  What a train wreck its been so far.  Almost halfway through the season and sub .500 at the moment? Astonishing.

I don't see the push as a big deal at all.  It was done to keep Blatt from getting a technical, the same way Cousins did earlier this season:

The Kevin Love stuff, though, seems real.  He's lost on offense, and he's not playing any defense.  It's the second game this year where he's been benched for the entire fourth quarter.  Apparently he and the Cavs GM had a private meeting after the game.

yea the shove was to prevent Blatt from getting tossed out, no biggie there

but Love on the other hand was bad. Wonder if that was in response to him calling him not a max player

Tough to be a PF for a LeBron's team offense I guess and Irving doesn't really do anything different when he runs it.

Yup.

Its tough when your players don't really respect you, which certainly seems to be the case.

Definitely.  Just doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of accountability going on over there right now.

You'd have to think things would be different to an extent if they had brought in a veteran head coach instead or, gulp, even kept Mike Brown around.

Seems a little more forceful and disrespectful than the Cousins incident, but I could be reading into it.

The Love situation makes me wonder about Blatt. Sometimes you have to play guys just to maintain long-term happiness.  At least that was what Webber and Anthony were saying on NBATV's Gametime and I'd have to agree. Winning one game won't make a [dang] bit of difference to the Cavs in the long run this season.

Oh yeah,something may be wrong

Quote
RT @CBSSportsNBA: Report: Cavs assistant Tyronn Lue called timeouts behind Blatt’s back

http://cbsprt.co/1FVTcLf

League scouts, executives and rival players] see players appearing to run different plays than the bench calls, see assistant coach Tyronn Lue calling timeouts literally behind Blatt's back during games, and hear Cavs players openly talking about coaching issues with opposing players and personnel. Not once, not twice, but frequently over the past several months.

For weeks now, the small talk when league personnel run into each other at college games, airports or pregame meals has frequently started with: "What the hell is going on in Cleveland?"

Feel bad for Blatt. He doesn't deserve this.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Yeah, he signed up to grow with the Cavs.

Doesn't help that it sounds like Lue being an assistant has basically taken his legs out from under him even more than LBJ/Love/Irving issues.

Always dangerous when the front office is hiring your lead assistants for you.

Classic case of to many chiefs and not enough Indians.   I really think a swap of sulley for love would help both team.  Of course that will never happen.   But I beat both teams would win more games with that swap.

And this is a franchise that has had a meddlesome and BB incompetent owner too in Dan Gilbert. Don't know how much he's involved currently, but he's been a big problem there in the past.
