Correction: CelticsBlog has hit rock bottom when an 'Austin Rivers' thread runs through 12 pages.

you must be new, winning nearly bankrupted Celticsblog-- nothing to complain about!

*scrubs* like Crowder have had fan clubs even in 2007-2008 when we had the best team in the league.

People love their scrappy glue guys, no matter how bad/good they are.

Or Posey/Powe, whose roles were closer to Crowder than what Scal was doing at the time.

Honestly glue/hustle guys get the purest kind of fan love, because you don't expect them to carry the team or develop into stars.

I remember Scal. We plugged him in the starting lineup when KG went down and didn't miss a beat. I'm pretty sure that alone justified his "astronomic" $3 million per season salary...

Heck he even played pretty solid one minute in game 7 of the 2010 finals when we were forced to put him out there.  ;)

I think fans should reward hard play,  nothing wrong with it.   I think Crowder will be a fine bench guy down the road.
