Does anyone believe that Tyler Zeller, having put his mind to it, could become our starting center??? if he packed on some poundage and hit the weight room???  I mean, the kid is only in his second year. maybe some kind of Fu Manchu goatee and a couple gnarly tattoos!!!

anybody good in photo shop that could bulk the kid up and make him look a little more menacing??? full length pic would be better.

All caps, to be or not to be.

We ll he is our starting center so I'd say yes.

I think he's never going to be a center that scares good teams, but he could easily become better than a lot of guys who are technically starting C's on good teams, like Markieff Morris.

Maybe he could be our Tiago Splitter?  Now, we just need to find Duncan, Parker, Leonard, and Ginobli.

I have a better idea. Just say no.

good point, I should have said "legitimate" starting center.

Len and Plumlee have started every game.  Kieff is a prototype PF.

'Nuff said.

"Our" starting center?  Sure.  He already is.  Do I think he could start "if" we were a really good team?  No.  But I'd keep him as the back up based on what I've seen so far.

he really has to gain more confidence on his short range jumper or get more bulk to really help the team in games like against the Pelicans. Their big mans ability to rebound and block shots really took away what he normally has shown since he became a starter.

I like how the other guys often look to get him the ball close to the basket - they search him because he moves pretty well without the basket. Thats really a good thing, but if he would use the jumper more often and at a good rate he could really improof his value a lot.

At his age he surely still has room to get better. He was a steal when he came over from CLE that considered one should be happy at the level he plays atm and see anything he adds to his game as nice bonus.

Raising the Question if or if not he could become a ledgit starting C on a good team shouldnt be asked atm as the team is nowhere close to that point of time. He will not be moved prior the offseason anyways as he is the only center we have and Ainge would only move him if he could get a C as young and as good + something or one that is even better. Chances for that, or that a team is offering somethin Ainge really can't pass up on, are close to zero to happen imho.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm from the future and I'm here to tell you that here in Zeller's 3rd year he actually is our starting center.
