There are at least five to 8 players I'd rather have than James at this point.

I'd be curious to hear your list.  Lebron is second in the NBA in scoring and sixth in assists.  He's hasn't looked quite as dominant as usual, but he's still the best player in the NBA, in my mind.
If you're looking forward to the next 10 years, I think there are a few.  Anthony Davis for sure.  Harden is 25.  Curry is 26.

James is still the best at this very moment.

I think something that has really took a hit with the CLE experiment is LeBron leadership skills.  He is really devoid of them.
