This team is better with Smart than Rondo

Smart is a leader

Lets snap the Hawks winning streak on Wed. I want Crowder to sufficate him

Who? DeMarre Carroll? Also, the Hawks are going to murder us.

i missed the game.  :-[

what the heck happened in the final quarter? it almost like anti-celtics judgin from the box score. the celtics asserted themselves in the 4th quarter? amazing.

what did the quarter look like? thanks in advance.
Sully played like a leader and hustled his large behind off.  Crowder and Smart supplied some needed defensive resistance and it worked out.  They gave up a ton of size but battled the whole way, despite Davis being Davis.  Heck of a win.

It's amazing to see, even after trading Rondo and Green for, essentially, just Crowder, how much more talent Boston has coming off the bench than other teams.

Mike
we had good talent coming off the bench.  the problem was we didn't have enough good talent starting the game.  still don't but these guys are hustling.  have to like that at least

Great block by Davis. Good job by Bradley sticking with. Incredible shot by Smart.
Makes no sense, does it?
You get a terrible block, you pull it together and then your supposedly terrible shooter makes a corner 3. Btw, I feel CBS wants Smart to become a shooting guard.

Smart has said he's more comfortable playing off the ball. Apparently he's not comfortable conducting an offense.

Maybe they're just easing him in.

A lot more faith in Smart's PG skills than AB though. Infinitely more.

Of course Bradley hit a turnaround bank shot, Smart hit a 3 falling on his rump out of bounds and Crowder banked in a 3 -- but we'll gladly take it...lol

I know it hurts the tank, but can't stop being happy about a win.

I know it messed with tank ..

But it was a huge team building experience for the young guys ......learning to play tuff .

Smart is one tuff kid .....him and Crowder feed on each other's energy .

Should Smart be starting?

He seems to be a slow starter. Although I would enjoy if he did. But for now, I am happy with him being the finisher.

Does Max get paid per the number of times he says 'basketball,' lol? ;D  Ugh.  Also, "to the window, to the wall?"  Oh man.  I miss Tommy. :'(

I actually prefer cornbread over scal. Scal tries to be too analytical, at least cornbread keeps it light and entertaining. gotta love that cinnamon toast line he dropped. Tommy will always be the best though

I think that Scal has actually gotten a lot better, while the only thing that anyone would have to do to be able to replace Max is just say 'basketball' in every line of dialogue.  I know I've said this before, but it just ticks me off, lol. ;D  Score the basketball, shoot the basketball, rebound the basketball, take care of the basketball, handle the basketball - dude, just GIVE IT A REST ALREADY, lol! ;D  Ugh.

I think they should keep him off the bench for now but hopefully he will take over the starting spot around the All-Star break and finish last third of the season as starter.

At least Rondo was not in there stinking it up with casual passes and missing every end of game free throw.....that was nice change ;D

maybe, but to be honest turner is slowly turning into a credible point guard. he didnt score a lot, but his assists and rebounds are good, and only 2 turnovers. i would like to see the experiment of him at pg continue and see him develop. i wonder how good he can be under CBS system.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Young guys learning is a win too!!

No one in the way of young players anymore.  Except Thornton, but it at least might keep Young honest not spoiling him with minutes.  He'll have to work to get them.
