Mentioned this here.  Can be had via sign and trade.

Definitely keep an eye on besides Monroe:

No. Pop won't let him go. He already told Kawhi is their future.
It's nice seeing him get exposed as overrated after having argued with fellow fans for years that he was overrated.. but I don't hate him. I'm looking forward to seeing him [...] bounce around to a couple more teams... eventually come back to Boston[...] and helps us as a role player until he runs himself out of the league.

I know that. I love Kawhi's game and he would be an amazing fit here. But I think SAS will pay him the max. They didn't accept his first proposal, but that's normal. They are just waiting to see how much they will have to pay. Their CAP space is huge next season.

If they match what anyone offers does he have to go with sas.If boston somehow looked like it had a bright future and he could be the man. would he theatrically be allowed to come to boston or would he have to go to sas?

My guess is Leonard will spend about 15 seconds looking at the Celts roster then re-sign with the Spurs

No.

In fact, I'll save time and thread space for everyone. No star Free Agent with sign with us. If you think we cant land Free Agents with a decent team, what chances do you think we have with a poopy squad like this?
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Agreed. Most people here wanted Rondo out. Now don't complain and forget about FA. This a long rebuild, you must think about 2019, 2020.

We haven't had star signings because we haven't had money to bring some one in. How many times has a star signed with a crappy team because they could pay them a couple million more? Plenty.

There are some nice second tier semi stars that are in bad organizations or are on teams that have players that need to get payed this year or next and they are the odd man out. DA could snag one of those making the team more intriguing so a star player.

We have 30 mill to play with, and even over pay if DA thinks they are the key to getting the next "guy" coming to Boston. So while its a stretch, but o say no star FA would sign with us with out letting DA have a shot of having money to play with for the first time is a bit unfair.

It took Ainge five years to build a title team in a far worse situation.  Inherited a roster with zero draft choices outside of their own, not one decent young talent besides Pierce, and 2/3 max salary slots being tied up in Antoine Walker and Vin Baker.

2020? I'm fairly confident this process will be done far before that.  They'll make significant strides next season.  Take that for what it's worth if you wish.
