Frankly, I think AB is probably the worst passing shooting guard in the league.  Has absolutely no court vision, and almost every pass he makes is either a bad pass or the wrong pass or gets stolen.

...so in a way, I probably prefer him to shoot than look to pass ball.

Anyways, I think he falls under the "unwilling" category.   Just saying......

What do you think?

Unable. I don't think he sees the floor very well. If just wanted to score, he wouldn't be stopping and double clutching trying to find people.

Unable.  He willingly passes it to the other team a lot.

I'll never complain about Avery being aggressive with his own shots. Someone has to be on this team.

while measuring assists and turnovers are not the same as deciding whether someone is the "worst shooting guard in the league," they are indicators of passing ability.

among shooting guards, bradley ranks 34th in assists in the nba out of 59 players. so he is not near the top, but not at the bottom either.

among shooting guards, bradley ranks 35th in turnovers. again, not good, not bad. middle of the packish.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This year is the first year I've seen him look to pass more.  To his credit he has made a few nice passes... but dude just isn't a good passer at all.

He has been throwing this one pass where he really slings it when he's behind a defender to the big who is freed up by the defender helping onto him and it's a terrible pass, the big can't see it coming at all.

Anyways, if he can learn to pass he'd really become a much better and more complete offensive player.  Not holding my breath though.

AB is the shooting guard equivalent to Brandon Bass. They don't pass or catch or dribble all that well because they're dumb basketball players.

Bradley is the worst passer I have ever seen in 40 years of watching pro basketball.

He makes Tony Allen look like Bob Cousy.

I was going to say something similar. I strangely like AB, but he is the worst passing guard that I can ever remember seeing.

There are terrible passing big men, but of people who are supposed to handle the ball, he's at the bottom. I think he's willing, but he has no feel for it. I can't count the number of passes he's bounced off the feet of the big guys.

My son can attest that I will often preemptively yell at the TV screen "Don't pass the ball!" when Avery (and also Bass) have it.

AB's 2 biggest weaknesses is his inability to pass the rock and his ball handling skills. As a SG those are two things needed to put pressure on a defense. AB is s great defender but if he fails to improve in those 2 areas offensively I don't think he will be the long term answer for the C's.

For all the heat he gets here, this is very true. And he does get hot at times
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

AB has never seemed unwilling to pass. But it is clear that when he passes, he doesn't know where to put the ball. He has always had problems passing the ball into the post, which doesn't even require making split second decisions. He leaves the ball in difficult places for the receiver.

He's unable to make those Rondo type passes that thread the needle or hit guys in stride and whatnot....the kind that really feeds a T Zeller for example....and he's unwilling to pass it to someone that will do something stupid like take a long two...looking at you Bass.
It's exceptionally unfortunate that in many cases he's the best offensive player the Celts have. But it absolutely happens.

AB

Awful form , he needs to use the TWO arm push pass and basic bounce pass........and he is clueless on how to,pass to a big under the basket.

Could it be related to his shoulder injuries?   ???

He HAS almost no fundamental passing skills . :-X   It kinda pathetic .

The worse part after he poor pass itself is the AUTOMaTIC telegraphing of his pass.......it's obvious where , what , and who he is going to pass to everytime he doesn't shoot.

He just makes individual turn over after turnover when he attempts to pass.

AB is good WIthout  the ball in his hands .

I really cringe everytime he gets the ball.  I think I'd rather he shoot than dribble or pass......whew  :-X

I m not sure who handles the ball worse BAss or Bradley .

Maybe he can work on passing .and his aWEFUL eye contact .......it's just too obvious where he is passing.
