No thanks.  Lopez is a very good, yet flawed player.  However, his injury history makes it impossible to count on him as an important piece of a team.

Not to mention this team should be focused on shredding salary and playing it's youth.

agreed.  at this point he's an expensive part-time player.  would provide scoring but little to know defense and rebounding for his position. 

if we had 4 other top players that could make up for his shortcomings on the boards and D, then I might take the risk of acquiring him

Injuries are wrecking Brook Lopez' career. I wouldn't take a chance on him at this point.
