Still don't know why the Green Bay defender just laid down after the last pick. It looked like there was a bunch of open field in front of him , and there was still 5 mins left in the game . Really dumb play .

I thought this play was foolish. You're right—he had TONS of open field around him; he could've gone at least 10 yards, putting them past midfield, and still gone to the ground to avoid turning the ball over (I presume that's why he went to the ground).

I don't know, it looked pretty slippery out there. I can't fault the guy for getting the pick and playing it safe. OTOH, after that play, the Packers basically looked like the Keystone Cops for the last 4:50 or so of regulation. Just ridiculous.

I agree.  I thought the lay down was OK there.  The game looked very safe in hand, and running in the open field carries some risk for a guy not used to running with the ball.  Good field position and the turnover in hand, going down was not a dumb move IMO.

Nice set there by the defense.  Great coverage, good pressure, stopped the run.

Foot firmly on the gas here.  Sustained drive. Let's go!

Dang. The Pats are feelin' it. Keep the pedal on the gas, though. Don't let up, let the momentum build!

He's more important than PJ Brown was. Once he gets some momentum he is almost unstoppable.

This is a classic Pats blowout. Men and Boys out there.

Yes, very nice to see. Though, I'd like to see some of the Pats key players come out for the remainder of the game. Eg, Gronk.

awesome game by the pats, though they let the colts stay in the game a little too long for my liking. i actually like our chances against seattle... the seattle offense has little talent outside of lynch and of course wilson. the hawks really got exposed today against a D that's probably a bit worse than the pats'. the question is whether the pats O-line shows up or not.

Absolutely dominating win by the Pats. Hope to say the same two weeks from now.

A few thoughts:
(1) This team has come a long way since the Kansas City loss.
(2) How different things look when comparing Denver to New England right now.... at the start of the season Denver looked dominant, and there were lots of questions about the way that BB builds a team versus about how Elway builds a team. Not so many questions now, though.

Patriots are in top form at the exact right time. Our Secondary, Linebacking group, and front four are all great. Our receivers, our QB and our RB's are all good or great. The only semi-weakness on this team is the offensive line, which looked pretty good making space for Blount tonight.

We're onto Seattle!! It's been too long since this town had a parade!  ;D ;D
