Seriously, did anyone catch some of the shots of him tonight? He looks like it is agony out there for him. It is getting to the point that if his expressions are any indication of his state of mind the Celtics need to move him. There seems to be no indication that he is part of the long term plans so at this point whatever the best deal is, take it. He seems to have no fire to play anymore. His numbers have dipped since Rondo has left. I do not blame him but he needs to go.

He's always been a blah player.

I'd rather start Crowder.

Pfff. He's the 2nd leading scorer in tonight's game with pretty good efficiency. Had Bradley not get hot, he could make few more points.

Green is having a great time, no pressure, keep chucking. Wait to get traded so he can freeze in the headlights when the game get serious again.

Unfortunately he's one of our best players. Figure that out!

Probably saw how happy Rondo is in Dallas and wants out too.

I was not trying to blast him. Just pointing out that he looks really despondent out there and not really engaged. I am sure the losing is getting to him.

Well not everybody can play with elite stars on winning teams .

Would he want to step into any of our shoes ?

I really doubt it

So stop feeling sorry for these over paid kids playing ball

Yeah ctrey, good observation, I notieced it as well. He's always a blank slate emotionally to me but tonight he just looked p---ed, dejected.

My question is was he like this because A) he know he;s on short time or B) watching Rondo play tonight he understood very clearly that Rondo was mailing it in on the team and the organization, which means he was mailing it in on Green as well.

The NBA is a business and we all appreciate everything Rondo did for the Celtics - helping us win a ring, the heroic performances, etc. But you don't mail it in on your teammates, especially when you're being compensated extremely well.

Wait, my bad - KG  and Pierce also mailed it in during the years the Celtics / Wolves blew to right?  Oh, right, no they didn't - and that's why you build around guys like KG and Pierce and not Rondo.

If it was me I would be really p---ed at Rondo for mailing it in on me.

Who knopw what it is with Green tonight - those are my thoughts.

Great, he scored 6 points in the last two minutes of the game. Before that he had 12. Please ship him out ASAP.

Seriously, how in the world would it be good to be Green right now?  The rebuild teardown part 2 has started.  He is expected to be a go to scorer which he isn't.  The only other NBA player with extensive playoff experience just got traded for peanuts.  I am thinking green is just hoping that DA trades him soon and gets it over with so Jeff can move on.

So yeah, I think he looks miserable too.  It is too bad, I like JG.  He gets way to much blame for not being the 2nd coming of PP.

Yup. Has looked miserable since the day Rondo was traded. Realizes the team is going absolutely nowhere except the lottery. Has lost faith in situation. Realizing he needs to leave the team if he wants to play for a winner again. No future here.

He's also likely to be hurt financially.  Before the Rondo trade, he was having his best season and some GM was bound to significantly overpay him.  Now there is a good chance he'll regress significantly and lose out on a big salary bump.
