I think these are the next guys waiting to fall off. I think everyone else has some value to us in a rebuild as far as development is concerned.  I'd love to get a guy like Hayward but might not be possible where Green opts out.  I'd feel differently about Green if he was showing signs because he is talented and he has improved but I still feel like we could use a different kind of player there before we go hard after a center.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I dont want to trade Green, and he doesnt want to be traded.

Keep him. He's not our saving grace, but by golly he's a solid SF to have.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine

I don't want to trade Green either.  I didn't want to trade Rondo but similar situations.  I still have hopes for Green.  Had hopes for Rondo too though that they would improve in the areas we need them to.

Just seems to me like if we are in full out rebuild mode we want players who are going to be aggressive there. Green still has spurts where he lacks something, that killer instinct or whatever.  Just not fully into it or with the program or whatever. He is improving though so he definitely deserves credit.

I am of the belief that guys like Rondo and Green got a bad rap by fans.  Green is no different than KO or Sully or Bradley as far as that ability to finish and be a finished product.  The difference is those guys are younger though.

We are a losing team. I don't overly blame  Green for not being fully into it either.

Just seems to me like we have James young.  We have Crowder. Green would be the logical guy to fall off in ways.  I watch a  player like Hayward they bring something else.  Maybe James Young will be that for us.  I think he needs time.

Same with Bass for that matter.  Bass really isn't getting time here and would be better served on a contending team. We have Crowder who is a better option for us.
