plays multiple positions and creative getting to hoop ,He is still young and had career sabotaged. He may just blossom with brad and celts. At least make a package for more than just low draft picks, after all he was a number two pick.Turner ,bass and green at least are all athletic and in prime.Turner has been turnover prone ,maybe trying emulate rondos passes and still getting used to multiple positions and players-

marcus smart isn't getting to hoop, avery bradley and green sometimes but turner you have to restrain/and retrain after his philly days. Who else-thorton/nelson.We need a point guard not pressy size.

He is ok at this stage ....Celtics aren't going any where .....still looking to find the Diamond franchise player or players to build around.

The team has to continue on in the mean time and Turner is ok as a cheap interim  guard while Danny keeps adjusting his assets to build a contender one day.

Just keep a team fielded without tying up assets and unwinding other bad contracts like Wallace.

I did not like the length of AB contract .  He isn't that good.

He really has turned out to be a useful player. He'll need to stay relatively cheap to be worth keeping long term though.

So far marcus has done nothing really offensively ,just his bulldog defense.I would expect a true number 6 pick point guard to be quick enough and agile enough to toy with bigs,to at least have flashes of brilliance on offense. Can marcus go against the nba bigs-he may be 20 but he not going to get much stronger or tougher.Huge fan of his defense but trying to play that kind of physical intensity and then play offense with finesse may not mix

If we get rid of Evan Turner then this organization should just pack it in. yeah, the guy has some bad habits but he is a nice spark off the bench and I'm starting to prefer him to Bradley with his ridiculous blown layups and lazy cross court passes.
Seems like this board wants to rid itself of all players and tank at the same time!!!

I think he may not get much stronger or tougher, but experience and confidence will make him seem like he is. Wait until Marcus looses his awe of just being in the league. When Smart defends he fights over and threw screens, he actually hurts people unintentionally while defending. Marcus will become someone you don't want to play against in this league.

If he can become competent on the offensive end, I'm talking 14-15 points, 5-6 rebounds, 5-6 assists, a couple of steals a game. We're talking a player many superstars are going to want to play with.

Turner and Zeller ,a danny ainge steal,--Zeller could be a celtic for a decade as the perfect backup center.Give Turner a season with celts and he will keep getting better as well as Zeller.

I like Turner a lot and as long as we don't have to overpay for him - keep him Danny!!!!!!!

The only real negative I have with him is his penchant for playing a little too loose with the ball.

I also like Turner and hope he sticks on the team. I am fine with him starting at PG provided that Smart continue with the minutes to develop in that role.

My concern with him is that he came into the league thinking of himself as a leader and go to player. He has so far proven that is not the case. As he matures he may prove a more team orientated player who can be a leader but not the leader. Once we find a guy he can respect to motivate him he will excel.

If we don't find a guy to motivate Turner to perform within the goals of the team he may turn out to be a liability on the teams development.

His time at philly let him  be creative and a scorer with no concern for d or efficiency, that in a way a big plus and last year was just a waste but allowed us to pick him up.After watching smart ,pressey and bradley  i reviewed all turners tapes.A season in boston with brad and a summer working out with boston coaches and trainers and turners just coming of age.At 6-7 he is a player we need. His crossover looks long and at times telegraphed but for a creative scorer, who else do we have that is young.Give turner some stability and watch his talent grow. The heck with rookies this was a number two pick that can shoot, get to the hoop in traffic and wants to score.

evan turner working with shooting coach ,he noticed a flaw in his shooting going off to left ,they have devised for lack of better word,a contraption to correct his thumb placement-the guy is working hard,i bet it pays off. the hard work, that is.

Well he's signed for two years and despite the whole "3-0 at starting PG" talking point his play hasn't improved enough for him to have any trade value. He's be much the same guy he was in Philly/Indiana.

So I don't think he's going anywhere for a while.

Evan Turner sucks.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.
