Ya....triple doubles are empty....why that is why everyone else on the team got them......what...no one else did.....well.....no really.....come on buddy....the only thing that is empty here is your point. Let it go. you can dislike rondo, but you cannot undo facts.

That's where you have it wrong. lol

I loved Rondo, and I really wanted us to build around him.

But it has always been apparent that he didn't always give consistent effort, and the way he is playing right now just proves it. I wanted Rondo to play the way he is now for the Mavs for us, but he just couldn't be that guy that could bring it every night.

So don't get me wrong. I love Rondo as a player and still wanted him to be a C, but I'm severely ticked off that he decides to play again once he's on a different team.

So let me ask you THIS:

Does Rondo's recent "apparent" statement about his effort in BOS take away from what he did in BOS...especially prior to 11-12? Even including 11-12?

For me, I'm remembering the good times and that was prior to 12-13.

Rondo fans, gushing at level of play not seen when in green this year.

BUT - gushing at level of play when he had a competitive team around him.

Remember the good times, man...remember the good times. Can't take that away from the man even if some of us hate him now.

nice way for the celtics to close out the half. impressed by zeller's hustle. turner looked good as well.

bradley, having a bad shooting night. not just missing but taking ill advised shots, which hurts.

i like smart's defense and he has some scoring as well.

if the mavs shoot their normal percentage from 3 point range tonight (35.5% instead of 53.8%), the celtics could have been within 4-5 points.

it is still a game!!!!  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Our back court is brutal, Ab and Nelson are O for January and Smart can't dribble it pass the 3 point line :-X

Per Emily Austeen, RR had never scored so many points in a first quarter in HIS ENTIRE CAREER.

funny how some he have omitted the most important part of a players playing..THE COACH......why do you think Bradley gets the green light to shoot 6 for 20.......a LOT....because the coach sets those plays for the guy he wants to turn into a 2-guard.....and zeller, who he never runs a shooting play, even though zeller can shoot very well...and makes a high % of his free throws.....it is what the coach tells you to do / be......THINK people....this isn't your game of pickup....!

I agree.  Not sure if this is the point you are trying to make, but if you want to develop AB is as a scorer, you've got to let him get comfortable in that role.  He's not a natural in that role and will have to work into it.  Same with Smart -- has to keep shooting.  Similarly with Dallas, Carlysle is playing Rondo and Dirk together all the time to try to develop their chemistry.  Frankly, I haven't seen much court connection between Dirk and Rondo tonight -- first I've seen the Mavs since the trade.

Green's post fade is a $12 million dollar a year shot. Too bad he rarely shoots it. It's easier to stand at the 3 point line.

Well, a shooter has to shoot.....I don't think AB will ever make it as a good 2......he cannot slash, but moves well without the ball......he defends well...not a great ball handler....not know for good layups.....but moves to a good layup via a pass.....his shooting is weak.......and has been for a long time....but he should be able to develop into a decent shooter....heck even I have..LOL...AFTER my full time job.....for FREE...

Rondo is showing what tommy just said......really ANYONE can be a shooter....it is not that hard for a player......it is actually all adjustments via practice......but to run the floor, pass, set up people, steals, rebounds...bring the ball up every time......be the one the team depends on to move it always......well, that is a LOT of WORK..!!!
