wish we could have seen Smart play the SG with Rondo . They didn't even give it a chance . That crap package would have been there later in the season if it didn't work out .

Just change your user name and you won't continue to be so sour.

What's wrong with lamenting the fact that two talented players didn't get enough playing time together?

crowder is about to become a celtics fan favorite with plays like that.

Love Crowder. And Sully. Gut feeling Sully will get shipped, both might... hope not though. Happy with Smart's play today, too.. and even more so how he kept his cool after Boogie threw him to the ground. Dude is such a punk. Sully did a great job on him... in 27 mins, 20, 11, 2, 3.. no TOs? Thank youu.

has nothing to do with it

Rondo is a great piece to have to attract other players, the 20's pick doesn't do much .

I love the guy yelling COUSINS sitting behind Mike and Tommy lol, I'd hangout with that guy during a game for sure bahahahaa
he's driving me nuts.  He seems to be having even more of an impact on Cousins

I'm ready to Demarcus Cousins him if he doesn't shut up
I think there's a 50/50 shot he moves on to Gay.  of course if he does, depending on what he says and who's around him, he may very well get Demarcus Cousined ;D

I'm starting to like Cousined as a verb ;D

Let's be happy for him. Went to a nice location. They just slaughtered the Wiz, and won 3 straight. Moving up on that Western conference. I give them a shot, esp with health issues out West.

yeah, the good sully showed up tonight. a great performance by sully, coupled with a melt down by cousins. tonight did not help cousin's cause to be traded that is for sure.

Celtics went 7-8 in December.  Not very good given the strength of schedule but not outright horrible.  Right now, they're probably on track to finish with a win total in the low 30s, which at worst is only a little under their talent-level.

As much as I would criticize him, Stevens appears to be competent.  He is light years, however, from looking like the coaching genius Boston was supposed to be getting.  There is reason to believe that he'll get better results when Ainge gets him better talent.  I'm not sure that's what you want when you give a guy a 6 year deal for nearly $4 mil a year.

Coincidentally, my comment applies to you too. Why does this game thread need be turned into a Rondo thing?

Man, I wish we could just win with minimal talent, against the odds. It feels so dang good to win (vicariously). Miss it like Tupac.

Trying to stay positive on Stevens, so my new thought is that he is great for young players, continuing to teach them the game. Since we have a lot of young guys with a potential for many more.

When you make a trade like they did, all bets are off.  Not only do you lose your starting PG, you also get 3 new guys that you try to integrate right away with hardly any practice time.  That will mess any team up - especially one that isn't good to start with.
