When the Boston Celtics traded Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks earlier in the month, it signaled that the team's rebuilding process is officially in full swing.

Is something unforeseen on the horizon for the Green Team?

A. Sherrod Blakely sees a big coming,  Abby Chin sees a big going, and other CSN personalities make some bold predictions for the Celtics in 2015.

I like the idea of getting Monroe  ;D
And Tommy's prediction sounds reasonable enough.
The rest I might as well forget about.

I was thinking this would be like the hold predictions for games, which I smirkingly love.
Soooo
Evan turner FINALLY figures it out as becomes our starting point guard playing like penny hardaway.
Ko improves his defense and his offense looks like a morph between bird and dirk.
Smart improves into a combo guard off bench and defensive player of year
Jeff green resigns improves more and is a top five all around sf in league
Zeller turns into THE ainge deal becoming a 10 10 center and spends his career in green
Wright becomes a solid sixth man for pf c spots

Tommy wants Demarcus Cousins. So do I.  Brad isn't going anywhere that's my bold prediction.

Sullinger's gone in a blockbuster and becomes an All-Star for his next team within two years. No matter, we get a better player back.

That player is Anthony Davis haha

I think a move to bring in Monroe would likely lead to a small chain reaction. I like Monroe but he is not a rim protector and is a bad pairing on D with KO and Sully. Sully is actually a better shot blocker then Monroe. This would likely lead to sully being traded, Im not sure how I feel about this as sully is two years younger and produces comparable stats for a much cheaper price tag.. The type of big man needed in a rotation with KO and Monroe would be a rim protecting 4. Maybe Wright is resigned to play this role.

I personally think Monroe ends up in SA taking over for Duncan at PF.

Celtics make a blockbuster at the deadline for young all-star level talent and make the playoffs 7 or 8 seed, taking the series to a game 7.
