Spotted them a 20 point lead and now they are pretty much playing even. Two bad teams but Celts clearly worse tonight. Just have to bide our time until the trade deadline for roster cleanup move.

It's pre-Christmas malaise coupled with trying to work in two new guys (no Crowder tonight so far) and losing one major one.  There's really not a lot more to it than that; guys are thinking about going home for a couple days off with their families.

Well,why doesn't it have anything to do with Rondo? Danny traded their captain--mid season. These guys are only human; above all, players like Green/Bass probably realize they're next.  That must affect morale.

They are home already, and got whomped by us less than a week ago, and haven't had major changes to their rotations in the last few days.  So, less distraction, more motivation, more chemistry.
