Will Wright start at center?
That's the paradox of the supporters of the RR deal:
-The new players are bad--> good, it will help us tank + give time to our young players
-The new players are good--> good, it will make us a better team
I do not see any logic in this, just a collection of ad hoc arguments, to retrospectively justify a deal. TBH, the players we got are bad. I would not like to see any of them as a starter.
The deal might be justified as 'the best possible scenario' assuming RR was going to leave anyway in the summer. What we got: Below average players whose names will be erased from our memory in a couple of years, MORE drafts picks, and a trade exception.
I would rather have kept RR until the end of the season and try to make it to the playoffs. At least the fans would have some fun.
