I'm not sure what position Powell would play.

He's not strong enough for strong forward, and he's not quick enough for small forward.

totally different level prospects but the same can be said for Noel.

I would like to see Powell get 5 min tonight. I dont think he is going to ever develop into anything more then a end of the bench role player but he has a good skill set/ physical profile for that role. Like I have said before the new Jared jeffries.

i must have an affinity for well rounded players that hustle-.Rollie massimino after almost 50yrs remembered me as that skinny kid that was all over the court.I like his hustle, like the way he moves his feet on d ,runs the court and brings the ball out of the pack after a rebound ,has nice touch ,some vert, get him in weight room and playing basketball 24hrs a day, instead of booking at stanford. Not to compare but i remember pre judging reggie lewis as too skinny, he will never be  that good-.I took a look at vonleh yesterday combing through the draft to see what we missed -there was a time the celts brought in some ex high flyers as bench or role players ,the mcAdoo era i think they almost ruined the club. -They were viral and the celts started drafting mormons as practice and bench players-

Might as well.

If you've got two legs, put on a green jersey and show us what you got.

Tonight's the night to do it.

Only 11 players available. Might as well give the kid some burn.

i disagree. He is quick enough to defend the sf spot. He has a body like Jeff Green

Shouldn't we just keep him in Maine so he can play against honest D League talent, rather than Philly's dumpster fire?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

if you are saying powell would get more challenges against better talent by playing in the D league tonight, you will get no argument from me.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
