Hornets look a good trade partner. They have a need for a veteran PF like Brandon Bass. I would like based around Bass for Biyombo.

I don't like the Knicks or Nets as a trade partner. They have little to offer.

Minnesota might be interesting with Pekovic and Dieng at center. I don't think there is much else on their roster that makes sense for Boston but those two are interesting targets. I am not sure what Boston has that they would be interested in though. Smart too valuable. Do not see interest in other perimeter guys. Or centers. That leaves Sully or Olynyk. Sully too valuable to give up for Pek or Dieng. Some reports said Minny's front office liked Olynyk during summer trade rumours about Kevin Love. An Olynyk for Dieng trade would be interesting.

They want to keep Pek and Dieng. They're trying to deal vets like Kevin Martin, Thaddeus Young, Corey Brewer, and Mo Williams.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Looks like houston wants to use their trade exemption too. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/10/report-rockets-aggressively-trying-to-make-deal-using-8-4-million-trade-exception-by-dec-19/
Could help us out. They may come after Jeff Green.

Am I the only one crazy enough to roll the dive with Lopez?

When healthy (I know), he's one of the best offensive centers in the league. I'd think Sullinger would help make up for his rebounding deficiencies and balance well offensively.

Not saying I'd give up a stars package, but it's a phone call id at least make.

They can't get him with TE. He makes more than that.

I'd be up for martin .  I know lots of $$ but he is a legit sg and spreads the floor.  AB is just a bench guy.  Also

I like this idea

I wonder if Houston might reconsider Bass with that TE. Especially given the uncertainty surrounding Terrence Jones' return.

with lance coming to us? maybe second round picks thrown in too for Charlotte for taking on martin's contract?

Do you think this helps us with moving bradley for a center? I also think young could work well here as a small forward and take jeff green's role.

Nope, Green's deal is to big to fit into the exception, so they would have to match salaries.  It's too bad, I would have loved to see us trade Green (and maybe an early second/late first) for the Pelicans pick

I don't see Bass being enough to get it, even if we included the clippers and cavs picks (I wouldn't give up any other pick)
I'm bitter.

those are the types of players I could see going to a contender to improve their bench.  a deal like Thad to Charlotte would probably be more appealing to the Hornets than Bass unless we were including someone else that would be useful like Thornton

I think Sully is the one who is going to be dealt.  He is a nifty scorer and rebounder but poorly conditioned and can't D  it up.   But he did pass it well tonight.

I think we could take advantage of the situation in NY.

I have an interesting trade involving us, Knicks and Nets

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=n4tsakk

Nets would love the deal, as they get a few money of there books. At the same time they are blowing it all up in the near future and loosing Williams' year max. deal would be fantastic for them, especially when you get Rondo in return.

Knicks will be the biggest winner on short term. They will get a massive upgrade and at the same time get out of the Stoudemire contract. The problems in Knicks indicate that they cannot tank without getting into problems with the players and the fanbase.

For us it makes sense on the long run. Getting two massive expiring contract will help us in the rebuilding process, and getting KG back will be so beneficial to the youngsters. Try to imagine what he can do for Sully and KO.

Wouldn't trade Rondo for cap space event though it's 30mil
