Quote
The New York Knicks were en route to their fifth straight loss last week against Brooklyn when a frustrated Tim Hardaway Jr. screamed angrily, "Get the rebound!"

Certain his second-year teammate was speaking to him, Carmelo Anthony approached Hardaway on the way down the court and used an expletive to ask Hardaway who in the world he thought he was talking to.

Anthony, according to sources, used another expletive in telling Hardaway he was going to beat him up when they got into the locker room after the game. While the two players never wound up fighting, the episode was emblematic of the volatile state of the Knicks.

Moves will happen at the deadline.  Anthony could be the one actually gone imo

Ugh these Knicks. Watched the condensed version of the NO game and its just awful basketball to see.

Melo isos every time he touches it since he feels he wont get the ball back quickly enough with all the Triangle based ball movement. JR Smith is still putting up points but I think it's proven now just how empty his production really is. Amare... actually played great, strait bullying Anthony Davis at times he really has developed an underrated back to the basket game. Again though Post ups are essentially close range ISOs so the team as a whole isn't really benefiting from the production.

What a mess, they need a Marc Gasol esque passing big in the worst way or to find a new system.

Melo is a winner. No surprise he's frustrated in NYK where he has one of the worst supporting casts of his career. If Danny has a chance to get him, he should go for it.

Unlikely, but if we could just give them the Brooklyn picks and Olynyk that'd be sweet. Being able to keep Smart, Young and Sully and keeping all of our own picks whilst bringing in Anthony would be incredible.

I don't know.  It seems like Anthony would be getting old when the other guys are reaching their primes.

You don't see whining from Rondo when he himself has a bad supporting cast.  ;)

That's the point.

Pretty sure if the Cs had lost five straight and Olynyk or Sully chided Rondo to work harder, there'd be conflict.

Not unless he wants out.  No trade clause.  Considering he stayed in NYC specifically for his brand and business opportunities, I'd say it's as likely as LeBron and Durant both forcing their way to Boston this season.

I was thinking like Jeff Green, KO, and Wallace(filler) and one 1st round pick (ideally clips but prly a nets pick). With Melo we wouldnt need green, and KO would prly fit well with their system( a passing big that can shoot).

Then dump bradley and some picks for a Center and i think we r in contention

its moments such as this that help me believe there is a god.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

How can you want a punk like this on the Celts?

Im going to beat you up? Losing his cool vs KG was pathetic also. The guy might be a talented player but is immature lacks character and leadership.

Why do you want BS and the rest of the team to deal with a guy like this?? Is all you care about is flashy skills?

I dont even want to trade Rondo to the Knicks if that was our last resort.
