OK THAT WAS AN AWFUL GAME.
We all feel terrible.
Please listen to some Bach, breath in breath out, look at the beautiful landscape, relax.
We are a COMMUNITY here. Mutual respect and basic politeness go without saying. Please.

Yeah - like the Olive Garden, lol ;D.
I actually had to google this one.
But, yes, like an Italian restaurant.
Do you ever see people having arguments in Italian restaurants?
hell no. ;D
And seriously now, for me this really means something.
I mean, if any of you ever comes to Athens he has a place to sleep. My home is your home. Seriously.
ooooooo....are you near Glyfada??? I love there.

next, i've been to napoli and fights are anything BUT rare there. ha, ha.  ;D
Far away from Glyfada sorry. Downtown- Kolonaki. Very close to the Panathinaikos stadium  ;D
I love Napoli btw. Great place.

I've never been to the Olive Garden, but does Bertucci's count, lol? ;D  Btw, did you just combine an ancient Afghan tribal custom, iirc, with uber, lol, or am I thinking of the wrong company?  Is that house from the shire?  What did you type into google to find it, and why am I so interested, haha?  Meh, eff Obama, lol ;D.
Sir, I hold a DPhil from the University to Oxford and an MPhil from Cambridge. In the Humanities.
I am unfamiliar with half the words that appear in the paragraph above.
that is because you, like me, are over educated. lots of jargon blows right by me here. i also blame it me being older than dirt.

oxford? one of my best grad students is doing her dphil there now. she loves it.

Cut a long story short: Cambridge is better. At least for historians. But for some reason all the Americans go to Oxford. Half the grad students in Ox are Americans. In Cambridge I think it was like 10% or sthg. Clinton effect?

maybe. but for whatever reason oxford is better known in the US. just like people always think Harvard is the best university, when for undergrads it is absolute crap and so many of the undergrads are mediocrities whose ability to get in is tied to donations from their parents. harvard undergrad is for sale.

Chicago, stanford, berekely are all far better.

Anyone else feel that CBS is trying to showcase Bass?

If he needs to, that's pretty sad for Bass, because he'd be a great fit on almost any contender, imo.
That made me think. Like, a lot. Why?

Let's see, he knows his role, has played in many big playoff games (and has performed quite well, I might add), is an excellent athlete who can finish over or through size (lol), almost never misses a midrange jumper or free throw, and, perhaps most importantly (which is very unique), he has the quickness and strength necessary to guard both power forwards and small forwards, like Melo and Lebron (although Melo probably isn't making the postseason this year if the situation does not improve ;) ;D in New York).  So, yeah.  This is only my opinion, though.
I can see your point. He is good  at what he does.
Yet, say you are Pop. Which player in your roster you give up for Bass?
I think no one bcs you already have people who do what Bass (and some more tricks) and they probably do it better than him. His mid range shot is good but not consistent - some time he is hot sometimes not.
For a contender this is IMO a big No no. If you are going to use a player only 5-10 mins a game, you better be sure he delivers in his assigned tasks.

Ahaha, TP ;D.  Sorry about that.  Let's see what I can do to help, here.

1).  http://www.bertuccis.com/  It's a great restaurant, but it has become pricey over time, so I can't really afford it.  It's a great place with great food, though.

2).  The Afghan tribal custom I was referring to is something where they have this code about protecting someone in need of assistance, and they offer them their home and hospitality.  I can't remember the precise term, but I saw it on a program about how a marine or something was on the run from the Taliban, but survived because of this ancient custom that is rooted in Afghan history.  I really wish that I could remember the exact term, but it escapes me right now.  Sorry about that.

3).  Uber - okay, I was wrong on this one, haha ;D.  I had it confused with https://www.airbnb.com/.

I hope I've helped.  Sorry for the confusion.

The Spurs aren't in the realm of possibility as far as a destination for him, imo, because they already have so much depth.  I was thinking more so along the lines of a team like last year's Pacers.  He did play in Dallas before, and quite well, I might add, and they need front court depth other than Brandan Wright behind Dirk and Chandler.  Charlotte could use him, even Chicago, especially because Noah keeps getting hurt, as well as Gibson, although I would never want to help the Bulls, so forget that, lol ;D.  How about Portland?  If Chris Kaman is really your only serviceable back up big guy off the bench, that's a problem, lol, especially on defense.  I don't know, I just think that he could help a lot of teams, and he also deserves a title, imo.  Don't forget, too, about his expiring contract.  OKC?  Houston - now there's a team that needs ANYONE they can get right now behind Howard and Jones, and Bass has played with Howard before.

Btw, maybe you're right about his jumper, but it seems to me like he almost never misses one, let alone a free throw.

Has anyone else seen even a moment of one program on Masterpiece theater?  That's why it's so well known , lol (for the record, I have no idea, but I'm just having some fun ;D), but not for a good reason - everyone gets murdered at that school.  There are affairs with professors, hazing, and just weird stuff that goes on on that campus.  Of course, I can only go by the roughly 10 combined minutes I've ever seen of such program, which I have absolutely no interest in, lol, but I'm surprised that it hasn't deterred people from going there (sarcasm) ;) ;D.

I just got back from the game.  Oh my goodness.  Yes, we looked tired as any team would playing their 4th game in 6 days and the Hornets looked rested after playing only 2 games in 10 days prior to this game!!

The refs were horribly one-sided.  They called 27 fouls against us to only 14 fouls against the Hornets!!  The Hornets shot 29FT attempts to our 10!!!  It looks like on the shot chart that the Hornets took a few more shots in the smaller lane (22 to 19), but we took more in the extended lane (28 to 26).

Big Al played 36 minutes without a foul.  Are you freaking kidding me??  Cody played 24 minutes with ONLY 2 fouls and had been averaging 4 to 5 fouls in those minutes for a month!!!

Whatever.  My son and I still had a great time and he got Rondo's, Green's, Sully's, and Thornton's autographs:-))

Peace,

Smitty77

Prime example of out of shape Sully 2-10 and 5 pts.  So much for the secret weapon eh?  No one on our team could guard Big Al.

Even if he was in optimal shape, I seriously doubt that Sully could ever guard Al, but in fairness to him, how many guys can stop Jefferson on the block in the entire league?
