main thoughts
-very slow pace.
-had quite some trouble defending the paint against a team that sure ain't memphis
-pressey learned how to shoot?
-sully please please please lose some weight
-would be great if thornton could do this more consistently
yeah. the celtics looks as if they were playing knee deep in molasses. slow game. i dont know whether they were mentally tired or what. disappointing effort by the team.
with hindsight, might have been best to keep Pressey in game and see how it turns out. I still doubt he is a legit NBA player, but the ball movement and pace were better while he was in. Plus, that 3 was really something. Like BANG!

Can anyone explain Stevens decisions on allocating minutes?

Mike

since we're losing no. If we were winning I could understand the moves.

Why are our gay coaches clapping.

Huh?
i m sure he means happy  ::)

Oh, of course ::).  How could there possibly be any other way to perceive such a comment, lol ::).
sorry if I offended anyone. But I just think anyone clapping and trying to be positive through that dreadful performance has to be gay. It was gay.
He has a point, I mean, it looks ridiculous when you look happy after a defeat.
But I think this is more of an asset for him as a coach. I think the Pokerface song was written with him in mind  ;D

You do realize our coaches shouldn't expect anything more out of this team, right? We're going to lose a lot of games. It's unfair to the players to chide them after each loss as if they were assembled to compete in each and every game.

This is a really good question. I think he is quite opportunistic (or pragmatic depends on your POV) on this front. Whatever works seems to be his mantra.
Pressey got no minutes from what I remember against Wash, today he got some time, then he did the offensive foul and he was out.
And I was quite puzzled with what was going on at PG. RR, Smart, ET, Pressey and even Bradley all played PG at some point in the game. Looks like Stevens is still experimenting to find out what might work out best.

Anyone think we are throwing games on the sly??  I know conspiracy theories, too much love for the team BUT
Rondo is one of the smartest players I've seen (and I'm old) weird turnovers at end of games
Players doing well not playing, smart ko odd sub patterns Stevens
Players playing Poorly but getting pt, sully ab

This team ISNT that bad
Is it ::)
Ahhh pour a pint
actually, yes, it is that bad. and yes, pour a pint or two.

Another game, another opposing big man having a field day in the paint against the Celtics. They need a defensive presence down low in the worst way.

I believe he's saying our coach's "act" of being positive is wearing thin. What he doesn't understand is that CBS' emotions are driven neither up nor down by wins and/or losses, but more so by the development of his players.
