Any negative thoughts please post them somewhere else. For anyone looking to judge Rondo can look elsewhere, or post somewhere else please in the 9000 threads currently up on Cblog.
Quick rant about last night. There wasn't a single time Rondo or any starter on the bench looked like they were upset, or mad cause they were benched. They were genuinely excited, and cheering on our team.
So much criticism for Rondo, but Sully/Bradley and Zeller played sparingly little minutes, so why so much hate? People complain CBS doesn't ride the hot hand enough, and when he does; results in 9000 trade Rondo threads.
Yes, Rondo had a bad game last night. So did Bradley, Sully and Zeller. Rondo has been the scapegoat for so long, I honestly would be sad if Rondo left, but even if he did, I'd understand after how we belittle him.
If you’re looking for evidence of team chemistry, you saw it last night. Every made shot resulted in explosion of cheers from the bench; starters included. I believe in Ubuntu, even when Rivers has been long and gone, and KG is no longer with us. I believe chemistry, determination, and hustle with good coaching is what creates a strong team. That is why OKC can't win a ring. Brooks can't coach, and chemistry on that team always seems mixed.
I know at least three players or more will be gone when we become contenders, whether it be Rondo, Smart, or whoever. But I stress a team that believes in each other, strives off of each others energy as brothers in arms, and unifies like the Celtics Big 3 of KG, Pierce, and Allen is as dominant as their first year together, and dang near unbeatable.
I knew coming into this year, expectations of playoffs or tanking for a top pick; whichever route it be, I am going to enjoy watching this team grow, sweat, and claw their way back as underdogs. I trust Ainge, and I believe the assets hes been acquiring will either pay off in Allstars, or we'll be rebuilding.
Get your seat belts buckled, its gonna be one hell of a fun ride.
EDIT: Also, gonna say this about last night. I didn't care if we won last night, we tried.. Wall played like he was possessed. And he was.
Wall said he knew he couldn't lose this game, especially for a young six year old girl who fought the battle, but passed away unfortunately. Wall had just recently found out.
Miyah Nelson was a six-year-old girl who became friends with John Wall, and who recently lost her battle with Burkitt Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer in the United States. Wall dedicated last night’s win to her, and was so emotional after the game, that he broke down and couldn’t finish his post-game on-court interview.
