Who knows how to make some humble pies , extra humble. Rondo needs to eat a few. Maybe be smacked by one on his face. He needs to get it together

He needs to be smacked in the face with a pie?  You're weird.

I think Rondo is going to want the max and I honestly do not think he is even close to a max player.   I would think he is a 12-15 million at best.  I love him, I think there is no more versatile guard in the NBA but I concede he isn't a scoring threat and sometimes we play 4 on 5 with him in there on offense.  But he is a darn good rebounder, and a superb passer and an absolute wild card when he plays.   He can take over games when he chooses.

"Ugh, we should have at least used Rondo to dump the Wallace contract" - The majority of this forum when Boston concludes another lotto season and Rondo leaves us high and dry to sign with a different team this summer.

You can want to trade Rondo and not spend your day plotting how to make him look like a bad player. As I've said many times, just because the Cs' future and Rondo's future don't seem to align doesn't mean Rondo's individual value is that of Jameer Nelson's. Is Kevin Love a bad player because he was going to leave Minny in FA and they had to trade him?

Did Rondo steal your wife or something?

If not, I don't understand your massive hate for the guy.

That's an awful amount of hate coming from you, towards a guy you don't even know in person.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Keep the threads going though, I love reading your posts. Hahahhahahah

Who said he was a bad player ?  I think he bails for a better situation this summer.  I'd be happy to get something instead of nothing.

Coming from you, that means so much to me. I strive to think differently than others.

He played tremendously, as I posted in the game forum. Lots of guys have good individual games, it's about stringing them together, which KO has yet to do. He also still got abused defensively, though I sure you closed your eyes when that would happen.

I shouldn't need to explain to you that one game means little to me. We all know KO has exceptional offensive talent. Until he learns to bring it every night on the offensive end to make up for his defense, he'll remain on the bench.

I agree with you, but you have to admit that most of the people who want to trade Rondo on this forum go to extreme lengths to paint him as a negatively impactful player, as if that will convince Rondo fans to trade him for a return only offered for positively impactful players.

The more telling part of it is his teammates did not list him.  Thornton and Young both listed Kobe.  Turner listed pre-broken leg George.  Smart said it was up for grabs.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I don't know Rajon Rondo personally, but every fiber of my being is convinced that Rondo has a VERY dry and pretty solid sense of humor.  It appears in almost every interview.  Sometimes there may be some emotion that underlies the dryness and the sarcasm, but he is very often just being "funny".

This one is really too obvious.  Tri as you may Triboy to make this a bad Rondo thing -- I think you know full well he was joking.  This was obvious false athlete bravado, said with a wink (whether he winked or not).

As if he were actually in the running for the spot. Even A. Sherrod doesn't name him to the East's AS squad this year.

Good point.

Let's be honest, most of the contenders don't really need him.  Golden State, Portland, Cleveland, LA Clippers, Oklahoma City, Toronto are all set at the point guard position.  Houston and Dallas can't afford him.

I agree that it's not likely that he chooses the Knicks or the Lakers just to go live in the big city.

I still think we are going to be the likely front-runner.  We can afford to pay him and pay to get him more help.
