here's where I struggle with the entire Jeff Green situation. I used to hate him, now I don't mind him...Overall I have no clue whether to keep him, trade him or let him opt out and walk.
The fact is this...There aren't many good SF's in the NBA. And the SF's that are good, are REALLY GOOD (Durant, James, George to name a few). So in a league where there aren't too many quality all-star wings, isn't Jeff Green a good option? This is probably why whispers are coming out that Green has more value then Rondo right now. Rondo is playing in a PG dominate league where seemingly EVERY team has a good point guard. The market isn't as in demand for SF's.
So unless Ainge has an idea of who could be a better SF for this team, then I guess you talk to Green about opting out then resigning at 4/40-4/46
And this is where I go back and shake my head...The thought of 4 more years of Jeff Green in a Celtics uniform almost makes me want to puke. SO CONFUSED
