****. does anyone here really think wall is not a better pg than rondo. wall is incredible.
about time to revise the top 10 PG list :)
Still, Rondo is a very different player, I would not let one game weigh too much on this comparison
nope. but who cares now? tp for ya.

KO went out and we couldn't do a thing. His defense was on it tonight, wall started to go for it once KO went out. Then we needed him on offense.

I loved this game and hated the result. shoulda stuck to passing instead of all that iso. I blame cbs there. Good game!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I am bitter.

A pet peeve of mine is Green's lack of ability the cut and change direction when driving the lane. He has all the versatility as a guy in a table hockey game.

Pierce backed away big time. Green should of shot the ball with confidence

Maybe Paul knows that Jeff is going to drive and read that play perfectly? I thought that he should have taken the mid range shot as well.

Come on. We played without a Center against Gortat, we had our rookie PG defending Wall and shooting 3s, played some great team D.
I can see the problem with half court offense (and thx for learning me the term), we really don't know what to do with the ball at times, but still, after this game I feel way more confident about this team.

he needs to take the shot. Not force a difficult shot in.  If he misses, he misses.  He made the situation unknown by causing the offensive foul. sigh

Still he had a good game for us.  he just couldn't do it until the end

It was a very entertaining game. Is it me or are the C's sideline out of bounds plays a little shaky?

That's a good point. Olynk fouling out was big for the Wizards. Wall went off soon after. Zeller should have been the guy going in or even Sully, not Bradley.

Refs lost us that game. We shouldn't have even had the second overtime. Brad should protest the non-call on that backboard slap goaltending.
Caught the over times. So one sided

Makes me sick

Anyone know why rondo only played 20 minutes?

The entire bench climbed back from 23 down in the 4th, so Stevens sat the entire starting lineup. Not just Rondo. The bench deserved that quarter and OT. Bringing them back would kill the momentum
Thanks.

Saw the box score. It blew my mind
I trust Danny Ainge

This is why i know KO is going to be a good player.  He plays better when things get uglier.  When refs start calling ticky tack fouls early in the game, it makes him think too much out there.

He would of been big if he didn't foul out

he has been called for a lot of fouls this season, but it still took 41 minutes for him to foul out. great game by the bench. lets see if the celtics can carry this forward.

Smart's the key guy.  He's a stud.  Watching him going against Wall was terrific.  Hell of an effort and I agree, with a break or two from the refs they'd have pulled this out.

Turner needs to be out there at crunch time because he can create his own shot.  Loved KO's effort tonight.  Team took a step forward tonight, even though they lost.

One thing I didn't like, we didn't try AB on Wall one time at the end. You had to with how he started beating Smart. That or Turner should have tried it and that's on CBS not calling for the change.

Most points by the bench in C's history.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

its amazing we lost by 1. AMAZING. 23 down.  Our turn to turn the tables around this time.

So if we are ever down large we know we are capable to comeback. Down 15 by the 4th, watch for this unit with Smart and Turner come in to try to fix the issue.

I also can't wait until Young gets better to play. He is a clutch player

Smart our only player to have 0 turnovers.  :o

Hats off to that young man. I think we have a player here.
