Stevens is a dumb coach

Just really really dumb

the way this team always gets destroyed in the 4th is totally on him. How many times must this happen before he does something different, or get these team to hold the lead in the 4th.

Its ridiculous. Im sure any other coach in the entire league would not allow this type of stuff to happen.

I don't like losing the lead late in the game either but he deserves credit for being competitive with a less talented roster.  It really is a team of misfit toys.

Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

I still say it's lack of talent. They overachieve for 3 quarters by pushing the pace and then run out of gas and talent wins out.

He figured nothing out. They could have lost.

Jeff Green traveled, Wiz should have had ball with 35 seconds left. One point game. At that point im going with the Wizards. Very fortunate refs screwed it up.

So now what?   He figured it out today?

They know the secret for playing well and still getting a good pick

Just wait till we have a legit playoff squad

I think we've overarchived for the most part this season.  I do agree that his decisions are sometimes questionable but I'm glad we got the win.  Sitting out Rondo in the 4th quarter could've been a colossal mistake.

I think he's over thinking the substitution pattern. He's subbing guys in and out, hard to maintain a rhythm down the stretch.

I'd say the fact the C's don't have a 'closer' who they can rely on to get their own shot at the end of the game is something the coach has no control over. That is a talent issue.

NBA games invariably tighten up in the 4th, teams typically lock in on defense more, and in the half court you need a go-to scorer.

1.  Stop making excuses about the roster.  It's not great talent but it's better than a 25 win team.

2.  Players have to make plays.  A coach can't do anything about that.

3.  Stevens is not dumb.  He does seem stubborn at recognizing when ideas that work in theory don't work in reality.
