when ainge first traded for zeller -watched his highights  and liked what i saw, today i went back a reviewed everything of course this is highlights-zeller always could roll,he ran the court ,had nice touch right and left moved his feet well and didn't hesitate on mid range jumper-this guy can play baskeball-his timing and finding seems you can't teach, those soft touch layups and jump hooks-he showed economy of movement and great timing-smart player just found out he was academic all american goes along with dwight powell stanford ,rondo, green georgetown-they will love the city of boston and its fans-this kid fits well with brad stevens and rondo-against certain teams he will be a nightmare-in highlite he actually got to the basket off dribble and has a nice soft jump hook and a nice inside moves-ainge has gotten sullinger olynck bradley, young, smart, ,  zeller powell and evan turner and thorton for peanuts-zeller could wind up the biggest steal a 7footer that plays baskeball -not NBA wrestling

Zeller is very underrated. I wish he would take more jump shots. He has a good one.

could zeller ever play power forward-i like his shot-i watched the small extra fakes before passing,he gets the ball out quickly on rebounds-hes probably played lots of one on one with his brother---now remember i watched all the way back he was much thinner seemed a bit quicker--

Yes, it was a steal.
Still, he is not strong enough to save our butts defensively in the rim. I' m afraid we ll have a hell of a trouble finding a legit 5.

Zeller is very underrated. I wish he would take more jump shots. He has a good one.

He took more jump shots with the Cavs when Irving drove and kicked it out to him or Zellers man was really playing off of him.

I think the coaching staff has asked him to stick around the post more this year. He has built up some good strength to be able to handle things easier down there.   His running ability and ability to use either hands is something you don't see many big players able to do

I was paying the Celts draft Zeller to pair up with KG. That would of been a nice upfront duo imo. Similar to how KG and Pj Brown were

rollie, thank you for the posts, but please learn where the period ( . ) key is on your keyboard. it would make reading your posts soooo much easier.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Just replacing --  with .  would help a lot.   Not a big deal, but hwangjini's right that your posts are a little tough to read.

Zeller and Rondo combo will be key to winning games in the forth quarter .   Zeller is decent with in 10 ft of the rim .

Rondo needs finishers .....guys he can count on to hit a nice set up shot to keep a led a the end of a game.

Marc Gasol would be awesome with Rondo

sorry for postcard style will put some more effort in.I went back again to draft express and they were spot on,i did hear someplace zeller won a big 3pt contest and he himself said he thinks he can surprise people with shooting. Lets see what happens through season. He also has the feel of durability. Obviously Zeller doesn't have the standing reach and wingspan but imagine a big lumbering center trying to get up and down court with him.He makes it easier to take a risk in upcoming drafts because of his consistent style. When marcus gets back in form with Zeller playing in 4th quarter ws should be much solid on d .Also  more minutes  he plays will have worn down the opponents bigs.Zeller also knows how to take a charge---I also like danny.s picking up powell another moving big, they may not have the ceiling but they play basketball well.Zeller also had to adjust to new city, getting married and new team that is still trying to find it's identity.Zeller was not just a steal but allows danny not to panic in search of that game changing rim protector.

Another saving grace about Zeller is that we didn't have to give anything away .If we had traded for asik or gortat was it worth it.Watch some of Zeller old highlights he likes to play basketgball and loves to run.

He's a solid player.  It's interesting how much better the Celtics look when you put something resembling an actual NBA center in the starting lineup.

I like Zeller and he deserves to be starting. I wonder how this will affect Olynyk's development though. Are we giving up on starting him and taking the bad that comes with his good? What does his mean for his future?

Yep, I'm still hopeful for KO as a player, but he's still learning and coming off the bench for 25+ minutes a night, since he doesn't have the opportunity to start at the 4, is okay for him right now.

Zeller's time as a starter is looking like gold, not only for some immediate wins, but also for Zeller's further development as a starting center.
