And BTW:

Always have wondered --- why is it called a Home and Home and not a Home and Away?

you have to be happy with the W, but again, you lose a 25 point lead, and that has me really disappointed.

Well that was nice. Survived a near meltdown for once. Beating a solid team at home is nice too.

Mini win streak, yea!

This is a lead I would have been sad we lost but not mad, they are a very good team. This win feels so good because we held on against the 5th offense through our defense!!!! We did this!!!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Great to see them finally makes the plays to pull out a game in the 4th.

Don't want to complain too much, but...

Stevens has got to understand that there are going to be nights where Green and/or Rondo must play 38+ minutes if this team is going to win.  And while it was great to see Thorton get some burn, why exactly is Turner closing out the game?

Obviously, the guys on the floor have to makes plays.  It's Stevens responsibility to get the right guys on the court.

That was a game to forget. IMO we did not deserve the W. Showed lots of panic in the last quarter, awful perimeter D and very sloppy decision making in the attack: lots of risky passes, forced shots, you name it. And the worst of all: it's not like it was the first time.

We had a big lead against the 2nd best team in the EAST, and hung on to beat them in the 4th quarter.

This Celtics team is deep. Still lacks rim protector, could get a veteran closer, and could stop the iffy playcalls.

My take is that if you build 25 point leads, in the long run you will unavoidably a % of these games. But I'd rather win 50% than 5%.

My conclusion watching the C's in the limited games I have is that Rondo, Green, and Sully are worth building around. Find an elite defensive center and find a more consistent shooter to replace Bradley and you'd probably have a near contender, at least in the Eastern conference.

The rest of the roster, outside of Smart, I am rather indifferent towards. None of them particularly seem like 'keepers'. I could see a few staying on a role players off the bench, but would be fine if any of them were traded for better fitting players.

Really frustrating to see Turner get those minutes at the end, Thornton should have returned shortly after receiving his breather.

Also, Olynyk is playing terribly.

I don't know if it's been mentioned in the thread but I just glanced at the box score and realized Rondo had a ho-hum triple double. A selfish one.

That was a great win against a very good basketball team.

Team showed a lot hanging in there when things were falling apart a bit in the 4th and managed to hang out.

I didn't see the game but glad the team won again.

Looks like Rondo had another decent game.  I'm ok with him going 5-17. He needs to keep shooting/trying to score to prevent the defense from sagging off of him

KO is going to be fine. Stop harping on him.  He will score 15 the next game and maybe 5 the game after that etc. He will become consistent once he builds his body further and with experience. For now  he does other little things that doesn't show up on the stat sheet to help the team
