Stats are slightly up.  So far he's been consistent.  Good for trade value.
The coach is using him the right way and seems to be coaxing more consistency out of him, so I think Stevens has a lot to do with it.

Really?   He played pretty even with him and I would give the edge to PP in terms of being a veteran.  I chalked it up to cagy veteran vs. veteran.  Usually experience wins in those situations.

He is our best player this year and Stevens trusts him.

Not sure, but I am liking what I see. He's more aggressive, his post shot improved, his defense improved...not much I can ask for

I'm sure part of this is driven by the contract year idea.  However, he's 28 years old and in 7th season playing.  He's a veteran these days.  He should be hitting his stride.  He's in his prime.
