The earliest pick they can trade in 2019, I believe.  Traded this year's to Phoenix and 2017's to Orlando.

I would think more because the Lakers don't want to lose their cash cow than because Kobe wouldn't want to come.

He loves Rondo. Heck, he'd love most of our roster - a bunch of guys who are best suited to playing off an alpha. He sees an old Paul Pierce starting for a half-decent Wizards team that's #2 in the East.  It's easy pickings out here.
