Just needed 37 total points from Anthony Davis to win my $25 triple up. Dang that one hurts.

I'm afraid of draft kings.  But I am fascinated by it as well.

They found themselves a nice addictive gambling outlet and have successfully loopholed it as fantasy sports when it's really just following an internet casino model.

I'd love to try it, but I don't trust myself.

Give it a try Redz! One thing I'll say is that first you should get some help and learn a strategy or you will lose your money the first 3 days. The first 2 days I got killed than I had a 7 day winning streak after learning a strategy. The past couple days have been harsh, but on Thursday I was able to get it going again and I know that I would have won yesterday had it not been for Davis.

I had a bit of a down stretch and needed a day like this.

Any body play the step tournaments?  I've got tickets for level 2 and level 3 games.  That 6 person, level 4 step for $200 is really enticing.  I'm wondering if anybody has taken one down?

I'm sure it's great.  I just fear the addictive side of it.

The setup and options sound very similar to on-line poker sites.  The steps tournaments and low entry/high volume options etc...I used to do pretty well playing on-line poker.  I was very good at the low entry tournaments.  I won an 800+ person one once.  I had to stop playing because it was making be a bit of an insomniac!

I guess draft kings doesn't require as much sustained attention, but the lure of all of the daily options drives a similar rush I would imagine.

Still...I feel it's pull - like Gollum to the ring.  ;D

Yup

It be nice to have another great mind join us. And yes, it's extremely addictive. I guess the only thing different is that draft kings takes more skill though i could be wrong. And dang you were pretty good at poker!

Many a truth in the Kenny Rogers line "You got to know when to fold em".  Lots of folding and waiting for the right time for a big play in the early stages of larger tournaments.

I will check it out at some point.

Is there a decent Iphone app for it?
Yup

From what I've heard the Draftkings app is great and simple, haven't tried it on my phone yet as I always have my laptop with me.

Dirk at 17 and Draymond at 14.75 at halftime. Need both to finish at 31.5 or better.

I know freaking Anthony Davis. Second time he has given me a dud of a performance. And this one hurt as I just needed to have a decent game to cash in.
