We had Paul Pierce back then. I assume you're referencing/harkening back to Tommy's "Geev Tha Bawl Ta Pierce! What's Korvah Gonnah Doo?" jam, and, yeah, if you've got Paul Pierce, it's a great strategy.

When you've got Evan Turner and Jeff Green? Not so much.

Not a smart move by Turner, at all.

This just makes him look like a total jackass.

He also deserves a hard foul from Atlanta the next time we see them.

Agreed. Korver used to suck at D, but Thibs taught him a lot. Turner just seems like a huge tool or sore loser.

URRGH!  I remember that play distinctly.  'Ranted about it in another thread.

Thornton is a routine looky-loo defender as well.   Both have a tendency to float away from their man in the corner.  The corner.  You know, the spot from which one of the most efficient shots in basketball is made from?
