No lead is safe with a finesse roster that doesn't bring it on both ends of the floor.

Its very simple.  As soon as the opposition starts playing some defense, this team folds like a tent.  Happened all last season. It's continuing this season. Its a function of your talent level.

It's easy to seemingly score at will when the other team isn't defending.

That is true.

We also need to not play Rondo in the fourth quarter.

Doesn't help that the team is more or less soft.  Marcus Smart being the exception and he hasn't played since everything started going south.  Were I Ainge, I'd focus on building the team around him.

This has little to do with a lack of talent.  The culprits in this game were horrible defense, poor shot selection and idiotic line up decisions.

Bingo.

And we are even softer when they don't play Zeller.

If it happens repeatedly, its talent.  Shot selections lineup decisions, refs calls, that stuff evens out over time.  This pattern has repeated itself since the start of last season.   They fold in the face of good team defense because they don't have enough talent.

Haven't posted in awhile, but have been reading. Will be reading less and posting less. I just don't know how anyone can stay around here and put up with the posters here whose sole existence is to blame Rondo for everything that happens with this team. Bottom line, the team stinks and the coach is suspect. You anti-Rondo guys don't have a clue.

We have a higher winning percentage without Rondo than with him over the last FOUR YEARS.

Rondo ranked 29th and 26th in PER for all point guards over the last two years.

Rondo should know by now that his days are numbered.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
