Brad has on occasion left Sullinger out for long stretches of the fourth quarter.

I hope he never does that again.

Sullinger is money.

Maybe cause his help defense as of late is atrocious, and he's too chunky to run in transition...? One game doesn't mean he's clutch..

Besides the fact it was against the 76ers of all teams.

He is a nifty offensive player but his D has been horrible.   Him in long stretches = other team at the rim.  It will help us get a big in the draft however.

Links are great and stats are great, trying opening your eyes during the games and you'd see what we are seeing.

DRtg rating of 113 this year worse than the two previous years.  That means 113 points are being scored every 100 possessions and he is terrible at this stat.

Here is a table to put that into reference

Bill Laimbeer was 104 for his career if your old enough to recall him

Yep, I saw your stats and posted some defensive and more in depth ones.   Sorry but 82 games does not cut it next to basketball reference.

Not noticing Sully on any defensive ones, not even defensive rebounding, which I found surprising and it reaffirms that he only tries on one end of the court.

Umm PER overrated stat.. 82games has been known for inaccurate info.. But whatever floats your boat.. The eye test is simple.. KO and Sully get benched and subbed out cause they are terrible defenders.. I like Sully, but he needs to work more defensively if he doesn't want to be considered an liability.

PER is garbage, but DRtg isn't much better in this instance, particularly when you're comparing players from different teams and eras.

Do you agree that Sully is looking more like a chunky Kevin Love on defense this year?

Unfortunately I haven't been able to catch many regular season games, but I said he wasn't looking like a great defender during the preseason, but I was roundly 'psshed' at that time.

PER may be horrible, but BR defensive rating is worse.

Sullinger is playing very well.

He is averaging 15 points and 8.8 rebounds a game.

And his PER reflects that.
